Playing games during the playoffs is similar to during the regular season. However, since teams from different divisions are playing now you need to contact the opposing captain to schedule a day and time to play your games. The gametype is the same, as is the map. Each round is a best of 3 series, with 1 week allotted for the completion of each set of games. Some teams don’t have a game scheduled for round 1 and instead have a bye because of their records. These teams may start scheduling and playing their round 2 game once their opponent is determined as soon as they are ready.
During playoffs you also have the option (encouraged when possible) of using a neutral host. This is a person who is in the game to pull host so that neither team has that advantage on their side. To use a neutral host, you must use a different map found here. In it, everybody spawns out of bounds and the players must more forward quickly while the host moves backwards through a teleporter. Once the host goes through the teleporter, he/she must walk forwards until he reaches the wall and after a few seconds will be able to see the court without the players seeing him/her. To determine if a player will pull host for a match, you can run a host check (map and gametype found on this page).
