NOPLEX is bringing Conege (Spiral6, F1R3 Commando, CantingSumo676, HxP Rival, oVeEkJaMiE00, xxEpicFailz00xx, Navid1999, and SpazzTrigger45) into the Spotlight with this interview:

1) Where does your team name “Conege” come from?
The 2 most prominent examples are these:
1. In RVB, Grif was protected from Tex using the cone.
2. The first guy to ever get splattered with a cone and record it was also the first guy to ever get the Recon armor. (From Halo 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym0BtwmCvoc)
And Cone + Pwnage = Conege. Enough said.

2) How did you and your teammates first meet each other?
We’ve always known each other, as childhood friends.

3) What made y’all decide to form a Grifball team?
We decide we wanted to make ourselves known, and consider this “pro gaming” to test our skills. We succeeded (as being known as one of the failure teams who barely play games and barely score).

4) Do you have any pregame rituals or activities that help you prepare for a league game?
Yeah.. we prepare to fail, but we do practice and consider it casually.

5) How would you describe your experience with the AGLA?
Great! We met new people, got pwned by new people, and made some new friends with custom games (kaboosewashere, thank you!)

6) Will your team be returning next season? Why or Why not?
Probably, we are always practicing for winning at least one game (haven’t won a single game yet , but we’ll keep trying!)

7) Do you think there are any changes we could make to improve the AGLA?
The forfeit system needs to be fixed, say with a forfeit map (Halo Waypoint history) or Xbox Message.

8) Favorite games to play outside of the Halo series?
Well… Minecraft. Other members of my team play Battlefield 3, and aside from that, some Nintendo games.

9) How excited are you for the release of Halo 4?
One member of our team was able to go to RTX (despite the fact all of us live 4 hours away from Austin) and got to see it for himself. He also got recorded footage of it (and the Halo 4 Master Chief Avatar Armor, lucky F1R3 Commando!) And we have played every Halo game (Halo 1 and 2 on PC, Halo 3 and Reach and Wars on Xbox; played ODST very briefly), read every Halo novel (every single one, from The Fall of Reach to Glasslands), watched Halo: Legends and every season of RVB, and are huge Halo fanatics. (We even know why Spartans don’t have to use the bathroom, but that’s another story!)
Translation: “MAJORLY EXCITED!!!!!”
